The Bush propaganda machine was hard at work today, somehow convincing hundreds of Iraqi civilians to gather in a public square, braving gunfire to witness the toppling of a statue of Saddam Hussein.

In the last picture, despondent Iraqis dance and spit on the fallen statue.
