The men who would succeed Saddam
A news story by Randy Boswell in The Ottawa Citizen: "One survived an axe-murder attempt, one is accused of war crimes, another of fraud, and two are bitter enemies. They are the likely leaders of a liberated Iraq: a wildly wide-ranging group of men united largely by their hatred of the man each of them hopes to replace -- Saddam Hussein. Most have been exiled for so long that the country they seek to recapture and rebuild bears little resemblance to the one they fled years or decades ago." Comments
