A Poster for Anti-US Protests
Let's see, we need a graphic that really sums up the feeling of the protestors who are letting their voices be heard in London right now. It should manage to convey :
I have just the thing.

Good work. How many graphics that could be construed as supporting the GWOT were skimmed over before that was found, I wonder? Posted by: dirk strom at November 19, 2003 03:34 AM http://www.nationalreview.com/comment/taheri200311181102.asp
Posted by: jones at November 19, 2003 06:33 AM dirk What is lacking here - Realism? The punch line for your joke fell flat. Notice the figure isn't wearing any socks from the SarcasmMill. Posted by: Cap'n SPIN at November 19, 2003 08:04 AM Sadly, this is probably the only work this artist had in years. The style is obviously from pre-war germany. Probably done from a 'labor camp'. Look up the Bauhaus and Wiemar germany for more like it. This 'Kunst" is very rare indeed. The artist was probably killed immediately after this work was finished and it seems that it was his/her masterwork.
Posted by: Sunami at November 19, 2003 09:43 AM Brilliant!!! Posted by: johnnymozart at November 19, 2003 01:21 PM If the CIA have these creatures prototyped, unleash them. The most hardened US-loathing uberterrorist would at the very least attempt to negotiate. Posted by: dirk strom at November 19, 2003 06:39 PM Help! We're being attacked by imperialist robots built by Salvidore Dali! Posted by: Sean Kirby at November 19, 2003 08:04 PM That's what will get you to the table Dirk? Posted by: jones at November 19, 2003 08:38 PM truly amazing alan, thanks. Posted by: lucky at November 20, 2003 05:31 PM Unholy and unnatural machines raining destruction on a helpless and cringing people are everything I went into physics, dreaming to create.
Posted by: Gabriel Hanna at November 20, 2003 06:26 PM Gabriel, I've heard about (from you, actually) your off hours experimentation in the physics labs. Two questions. Is it making the tea yet, and if not why not?

Posted by: Alan E Brain at November 21, 2003 06:17 AM dirk, it makes the tea, but badly and then I have to chastize it. I was sloppy when installing its vocal cords, and thus it produces no proper screams but merely low hoots, for which failure I can only blame myself.
Posted by: Gabriel Hanna at November 21, 2003 03:06 PM good find, alan! i found a good poster for the rest of us over at Eye On The Left (http://www.eyeontheleft.com/eyeblog/archives/000267.html)
