North Korea Nullifies No-Nuke Accord

Mighty yes... Able to last a year against US firepower... NO! By all means, continue to starve your people, you stupid little ass hats. Posted by: Original Mark at May 13, 2003 03:16 PMconsidering they fought us to a draw last time, they certainly could last a year or years. Posted by: Marc at May 13, 2003 08:42 PMUhhh... the DPRK didn't fight us to a draw, the Chinese did. The North Korean People's Army ceased to be an effective fighting force after the Incheon landing. Also keep in mind that this was in 1950, when American military strength was at an all-time low do to post-war defense cuts and a force structure designed for occupation duties rather than fighting. The North would find both the US and the ROK very different adversaries from what they were during Round One. Posted by: The Marmot at May 13, 2003 08:56 PMuhhh, the North Korean People's Army never ceased to bre an effective fighting force. The US military considers them to be among THE most effective fighting forces there is. They certainly fought much better than the Chinese in the Korean War.
