Mass Desecration of Jewish Graves in New Zealand

Following on from the NZ Government's recent harsh criticism of Israel, and their refusal to meet with an Israeli delegation, a large-scale and well-organised mass desecration of a Jewish cemetary has been pepetrated. An attack that must have taken considerable time and effort, completely wrecking a building. As many as 100 graves may have been damaged.

Details of graves vandalised, along with extensive pictorial coverage, are at Silent Running.

Is this a new wave of attacks or is this the same story that was published a few weeks back?

Not childish! Islamofascists who are too cowardly to eliminate the hate in their hell spawned so-called religion.

There are deluded and peaceful people who are Moslems. I accept that. However, it is long past time for them to eliminate the demonic forces that have taken control within the so-called 'religion of peace". I hope they do. They would be welcomed with open arms by all honorable people in the world.

I am NOT HOPEFUL that any sincere and peaceful Moslem will comdemn such horrible acts. We will see.

Leaddog2, I see nothing here that states that these crimes were perpetrated by Muslims. Islam does not have an exclusive claim on anti-Semitism.

What is concerning is that there have been a significant rise in hate crimes against Jews in the last two years perpetrated by non-Muslims.

I'm betting it has to do with a story from several weeks back.

"...Israelis Uriel Kelman and Eli Cara – believed by the Government to be Mossad agents – were caught trying to obtain a New Zealand passport ..."

Overly patriotic Kiwi's think they are enforcing the government party line. They feel that they are under attack and can't distinguish between religious affiliation and foreign affairs.

jj-

I think this is anti-semitism, pure and simple. Two Mossad guys trying to get passports do not constitute an attack, however shrilly Helen Thomas may have reacted. As for the average Kiwi, has no one ever tried to illegally obtain a passport before? Please. It happens all the time. Why should the average person even care? If the two were from any other country in the world, would there be a reaction of this kind? I doubt it.

It's the same old whore in a brand new dress, that's all.

Oh please why confuse patriotism with good old bigotry?

I figure they think the government gave them the greenlight to do what they really want to.
