Arafat tells kids to die on International Children's Day

From IMRA:

Israel Television Channel Two News correspondent Ehud Yaari showed a tape this evening of the meeting Yasser Arafat held in Ramallah with children to mark International Children's Day.

Arafat devoted his remarks to encouraging the children to be "shahid" (die for the cause), noting that one shahid who dies for the sake of Jerusalem has the power equal to 40 of the enemy dying.

Yaari noted that Arafat said nothing in his remarks about peace or reconciliation.

This guy can't get killed fast enough!

Somebody please put a bullet through what little brains he has. That so much trouble is spent accomodating this piece of dog droppings is ridiculous.

Beachbum,

I'm here only to correct your grammar:

The word 'brains' should be singular. The word 'droppings' should probably be singular, although a more descriptive adjective such as 'minuscule' should also have been included. Other than that, you done good.

After much arm twisting by the US, Israel agreed not to kill yasir arafat.. in the clear light of hindsight, this may not have been the best of decisions, but at the time it did move the peace process forward....but maybe its time for a change.

Suffer the little childern? I wonder if he'd be prepared to show us how it's done. Thought not. Dante is gonna need a whole new level for this guy.

Sharon could not buck the US and kill Arafat. I wonder if the nutter(s) that killed Rabin maybe made a big mistake.

Rabin wanted to believe in peace, but he was a hard man (as hard as Sharon or Bibi or anyone). Sharon feels no personal betrayal with Arafat; he always new he was a lying scum. But Rabin (like alot of people, including me) wanted to believe. And got burned, badly.

If Rabin were still around I think he would have personally put a bullet in Arafat by now and the consequences be damned.

Arafat has always been two faced in his dealings with the three sides (US Pal and Isreali) so there are no new developments, but not even the Isrealis want to martyr Arafat and throw even more kerosine on the bomber recruitment pushers fires. Also its best remember that ol arafat doesnt have a handfull of bodyguards to protect him from isreali snipers, its to protect him from his fellow muslims.

Actually, Simon, according to Dante, Arafat is *already* over his head buried in ice, in the ninth circle of hell, and the thing we call Arafat is really a demon masquerading in his body.

Preemptive punishment.

Perhaps, in light of the ninth circle of Hell reference above, we could modify a M.O.A.B. to dispense liquid nitrogen, target Mr. Arafat, and prep him for his final destination.

Make Old Arafat Brittle - MOAB.

A dead martyr beats a live despot IMO. Its like ripping off a bandaid, its gotta be done sooner or later.
The Palestinians got an interesting game of good cop/bad cop going now, but there are two problems. The good cop isnt all that good and the bad cop took all the guns. The Israelis should just try their best to make the deal work, and when Arafat scuttles it again finish that big honking wall along the green line and tell the Pals they are on their own.

Posted by: Mark Buehner at June 2, 2003 03:15 PM

Mark Buehner is 100% right.
However, I think Sharon ought to lay it out for the Palestinians and the rest of the world: "This is it. We are bending over backwards one last time. If you follow Arafat; if you permit Hamas, Fatah, al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade, al-Gama'a al-Islamiya, Islamic Jihad or any of the other terrorist groups in your community to screw it up, we will not offer you another chance. Stop whining and police your own damn community. There will be no further games, we will treat the entire country, West Bank, Gaza and all as sovereign Israeli territory to populate as we please."
A disclaimer, right?
I don't remember the exact wording of a quote I once read by Abba Eban, but it was something like:
"The Palestinians never lose the chance to miss an opportunity."

Since Hitler, no one has been responsible for more dead Jews than Yasser Arafat, the godfather of modern terrorism.
The PLO "plan of stages" to end Israel is Abu Mazen's brainchild, advancing the strategy of salami tactics to reduce Israeli territory and security until it is vulnerable to a death blow.
The PA continues to espouse anti-Jewish hatred and implement anti-Jewish genocide. Suicide bombers continue to be celebrated as heroes for blowing up Jewish men, women and children. Their families are compensated by the Palestinian Authority, and by the Saudi government, and until recently, Saddam Hussain.

Now the great idea of Abu Mazen is to recruit the killers, suddenly reformed, into his official armed forces. Israel must free the killers, who will then be armed with new weapons and paid by the UN to kill Jews.

Sharon has no choice at this moment than to play along with the Americans, hoping that the roadmap will collapse under the weight of its own contradictions and false assumption.

The roadmap does not demand that the Palestinians do anything of substance. They just need to repeat the declarations that they have already proven meaningless. They need to reform their regime, but that just means re-forming it with the same people. Abu Mazen indicates that he has no intention to disarm Hamas or Islamic Jihad, and certainly not the terrorist wing of Fatah, Arafat's own faction that exists for the sole reason, the destruction of Israel. The establishment of this state -- within a year or two! -- will equip and expand the Palestinian armed forces and permit the influx of tens or hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from neighboring countries, all under international protection and sanction.

Once Israel starts down this track, there will be no turning back. The Quartet roadmap is a peace plan in the same way that Auschwitz was a work camp. The sign then said: "Work makes you free." The roadmap now says: "Unilateral concessions bring peace." The train has left the station, and most of the present Israeli government has been herded aboard, prepared only for "painful compromises" and some minor dislocations. They are in for a rude awkening upon arrival at their destination.

The whole thing is just a boil, IMO. It has to come to a head to be surgically removed.

Every single one of them are out of thier minds and the whole Arab block has been supporting this insanity for too long.

I am hoping this gets slam dunked right in thier faces!

There is a questionable basis for a tribe or nation of people that as a technique of advancing their lot.....to kill themselves. Duh! (It should be the butt of Near Eastern jokes)

It was rumored that Arafat was very much interested in young boys, so why kill off his stable. Quite a dichotomy in a civilization that routinely hunts down homosexuals, tortures them and executes them. Palestinian gays seek refuge in ......Israel.

And the beat goes on....
