The Palestinian leadership is committing the same mistake it made in 1994, when it ignored the young generation.

Posted by: bascule I read a very persuasive article today by Dennis Ross, the chief Middle East negotiator under Bush I and Clinton. He argued that it is important that the Palestinians hold "national" elections very soon and that the United States and Israel have an interest in aiding them in that task. Posted by: Wayne Fielder Bush has bought into the notion of a Palestinian state, also. Hell, I even think Sharon recognizes that is where this seperation movement is headed.
Posted by: rdelephant So, let me see if I've got this straight. To protest being shut out of power by the old guard, these young idiots have decided to name themselves after the former head of said old guard, who specialized in shutting everyone out of power? And calling themselves martyrs after a corrupt old man who died in bed? Posted by: Achillea Makes perfect sense if you think about it - after all, what if that's actually their ultimate career goal, to die in bed?
