Kassams hit Sderot, woman suffers shrapnel wounds

JERUSALEM POST: Kassams hit Sderot, woman suffers shrapnel wounds

A number of Kassam rockets hit the west Negev city of Sderot around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Magen David Adom ambulances arrived at the scene and treated a 27-year-old woman who suffered shrapnel wounds.

Eight others residents were treated for shock.

All of the casualties have been taken to the Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.

When the "security fence" becomes an international border, attacks like this can receive an Israeli response with as much destructive power necessary to defend its citizens, leveling entire Palestinian villages if necessary for each single Kassam, with impunity granted by international law under the aegis of article 51 of the UN Charter.

When the fence is in a state that can be defended as a border, we should not be surprised if Israel becomes the first nation to stand up in the UN General Assembly to declare their official recognition of the existence of the Palestinian state.

The Palestinians know that if they become a recognized sovereign state, any acts of violence perpetrated against Israel will then be considered, by definition under international law, belligerent acts of invasion of another sovereign state who will have the right to utterly destroy the invaders with whatever force the invaded state deems appropriate. So for that reason alone the Palestinians cannot afford to achieve statehood since the jihadis among them have no intention of ceasing their Islamikaze attacks against Israel.

Israel is not going to destroy the Palestinians over some nuisance rockets. They don't much care about the UN anyway, so if they were going to create a bloodbath, they could do it at any time. It is interesting, however, that you crave to see the streets running with the blood of Palestinians.
