Photo of Jakarta Blast
It was a big one.
(No, it's not been Photoshopped) More photos available at the Sydney Morning Herald. And yes, the Australian Embassy in Jakarta (the white building in the photos at the SMH site) was built to, ah, unusually strong construction standards. As I've worked at DFAT (The Australian Equivalent of the State Department) I can't say anything more about that.
