Nasrallah: Attack on Al-Aksa means end of Israel

JERUSALEM POST: Nasrallah: Attack on Al-Aksa means end of Israel

A possible destruction of the Al-Aksa Mosque by Jewish extremists will have "lethal" repercussions for the Jewish State, Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah warned Wednesday.

Speaking on the Beirut-based al-Manar television, the mouthpiece for the extremist Shiite group, Nasrallah warned: "God forbid, should the Holy Al-Aksa be destroyed this will mean the destruction of the Jewish entity [Israel]."

We are led to believe that if there is a Jewish Terrist Attack on Arabs, that the Arabs might respond with another Terrist attack on their own?

Quelle surprise!

Does this differ from the half-century pattern thus far?

Looks as though the Iraeli anti-terror folks did the Right Thing, and closed off the area to Israelis.

Works for me.

First, I hope IDF prevents any such terrorist attack on Al-Aqza. And second, what is Nasrallah gonna do? bleed on Israel to destroy it?

Ready, set,.....yawn.

I can't decide which is more boring, this threat, or the idea that Arab hatred of Jews and Arab terrorism stems from Israeli actions. Course, if Arabs build Al Aqsas or Domes of the Rock on other religion's holy sites, like they do with every other religion all over the world, well gosh, we should be sensitive to that.

We need to de-involve ourselves in this 4,000 year old family feud.

Oh, and Arabs need to stop blowing things up when they don't get their way.

Let me get this straight. Israel takes down a gathering place for terrorists, so Hezbollah will blow something up.

So, does that mean if said location isn't removed, Hezbollah won't attack?

Excuse my profound skepticism.

G3: Somewhat surprisingly, you got it right in one.

Good on ya!

One can only hope that the Israelis would remove this abomination off of Temple Mount. Enough of this nonsense with Muslims claiming other peoples holy places for themselves.

Ripping down the Pagan Golden Domed Temple of the Sacred Rock would be too much of a favor to the ummah because do so would save the muslims from their own idolatry.

I the place is used to store weapons it's no longer a holy site. I'm also pretty tired of these people wanting it both ways.

Don: So would it be OK to tear it down?

I would say "yes." In the face of "screwed either way," I say do what you want.

From an Arab
Well Nasrallah can't do any thin to israel if they destroyed the mosque because i think if he can do anything he would have done it long time ago.

But on the other side I see that almost every body here is talking about Arabs and muslims as terrorists which is not true may be terrorists are arab and muslims ........but the opposit is has nothing to do with the truth . I advice every body to read non political books about the middle east. there are doctors ,students ,universty professures beggers mechanics, atheists ,alcoholics ,junkies and all kind of peopel Amrica has so me as an Arab find it very Naiive and rediculous of those people who talk about arabs and muslims as terrorists there is one billion muslim and may be 20.000 terrorist so you generaliz the one billion on the 20,000 its common sense.
Well and arabs never Burned a church or a senegog and when ya say arabs I exclude turks coz turks did . So why do you want arabs to accept the fact that israilis are destroying their mosques and ther is nothing under the mosque like there is no mass destruction weapons in Iraq.
And Jew brother please don't accuse us of being anti simiens coz arabs are semiens them selfs so how con we be anti our selfs.

Alexandrian, don't take things so literally. It's like we may say 'we went to war with Iraq'. We didn't go to war with 'Iraq', we went to war with Sodom and terrorists. We may talk of Muslims or Islamics, but we know there are many that aren't radical extremists. However, Muslims need to get vocal, and physical, and denounce the extremists. So that they understand that they are nothing but a drop in the bucket and despised by all true Muslims.

Muslims need to get vocal and denounce extremists. Agreed !
However, I urge Christians and Jews to take a good look in the mirror as well and see what they can do about extremist and intolerant interpretations of their own respective religions. Raising this subject is taboo in the West, yet it is a necessary and essential debate if we are to foster tolerance and stop this unnecessary bloodshed.
