They should have had these guys up before the 9/11 commission. Seriously, if those posturing fools had heard the administrations's case in condescending foreign accents they'd have sputtered a little and then fallen all over themselves trying to suck up.
Posted by: marymcl at July 2, 2004 11:37 AM If these guys are this strident with a Republican in the White House, consider the world with an anti-war Democrat in power - it'll throw the US back to the Jimmy Carter days when radicals could freely kick sand in your face - only, of course, now they murder. Kerry, now - that's a very scary thought. Posted by: Derek at July 2, 2004 03:26 PM When muslims declare or agree to a truce, they mean "truce" as in Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. It's just another variation on the theme of taqiyyah. We also ask that you avoid the extensive use of profanity, racist terms (neither of which we consider civil or respectful), and other boorish language. We reserve the right to delete any comment, and to prohibit you from commenting on this site, if we feel you have broached this policy. This will occur only once, however, and should we ban you from our comment forums we expect that ban to be permanent. We also will frown upon those who suggest that we ban other individuals for voicing unpopular opinions, should those opinions be voiced in a civil and respectful manner.
