U.S. Alert Level Raised to High/Orange
The government on Sunday raised the national threat level to orange, the second-highest, saying attacks were possible during the holidays and that threat indicators are "perhaps greater now than at any point" since Sept. 11, 2001. Said Ridge: "These credible sources suggest the possibility of attacks against the homeland around the holiday season and beyond. These strategic indicators, including Al Qaeda's continued desire to carry out attacks against our homeland, are perhaps greater now than at any point since Sept. 11." Comments
Hmm... I have a plugin for MT that shows the current alert level and it hasn't changed yet...

You may need to rebuild (unless you have a chron job scheduled, or another plugin onboard, that automatically rebuilds) to freshen the XML feed.
