Lies, Half Truths Complicate Iraq Mission

From the Austin American Statesman / AP:

Zionists are spreading drugs and prostitution, they say, and Americans - not Saddam Hussein loyalists - bombed a procession of U.S.-trained police cadets. U.S. occupiers also are withholding electricity on purpose, the story goes.

Lies and half-truths - readily believed by a nation of people who learned long ago to be skeptical of rulers' motives - are complicating America's mission in Iraq, fueling anti-U.S. sentiment as troops struggle to quell a growing uprising.

Complicatin' matters is 'former' who MAY be tryin' for a comeback. If I was an 'outy', I'd be lookin' for extra playin' cards. If I was an 'iny', I'd think about holdin' for awhile. Oh yah - almost forgot - all those hydrogen filled party balloons are still driftin' around, too...

``I don't know what happened. I can't repeat the lies of others because I know God is watching." No doubt there are others who adhere to such a policy.

Bubba: "why don't they have a comment section on these arab news sites?"

ROTFLMFAO!!! If you were splashing BS all over the place would you want somone to shine a little light in your dark hole of lies? Hehe.

Some other Arab news sources do have a place for comments, like the Saudi Arab News does. I've tried sending then my thoughts on several occasions... from giving a western perspective to pretending to be a Saudi (even running thru a Saudi proxy so my IP appears to come from within their country) and throwing some of the crap that they have been saying to us back at them, like "we need reform... we should ask ourselves why do they hate us.... what have we do to deserve this... our policies are biased and unjust etc etc"

Does any opposing comment ever get posted? No. That would rain on their parade and spoil their illusion.

LoL
USF, I've tried the same thing, but even using a proxy they won't post it, or take it down real quick.
Seems they are sensitive to their Arab viewers getting a questionable though in their heads.

Islam controls all thought, this is why they are the way they are.
It's a giant cult
