'Comical Ali' Resurfaces
BBC:
"We don't have him, and there is no information from our people on the ground to back up these reports," a spokeswoman for Central Command told BBC News Online. Full article... Posted By Venomous Kate at June 26, 2003 05:52 PM | TrackBackThis story also on cnn...they will show viedo friday. Posted by: ags at June 26, 2003 06:14 PMThe funny thing about this is . . . how can we trust his statement? Based on past experience I would translate 'surrendered himself to US forces, who had released him after questioning' to 'locked himself in the bathroom and cried, then went for a walk'. Especially considering "US Central Command would not confirm his claim that he had been interrogated and freed." Posted by: Jack William Bell at June 26, 2003 06:22 PMAccording to this article at reuters, he should be on Abu Dhabi TV on 4pm Thursday (eastern) for an interview. Abu Dhabi TV is carried by some cable companies... I guess its worth checking out. Hopefully its subtitled. Posted by: USF at June 26, 2003 07:29 PMWhat good would any information be that you get from him???? Oh, I get it.....you just figure the opposite of what he says. Posted by: Jeff B at June 26, 2003 08:36 PMOh c'mon Jeff.... they guys hilarious. I cant wait to watch it because I figure on a couple of scenarios here: A. I want to hear his excuses for the BS he was feeding those that were dumb enough to listen. B. I want to hear his latest BS. I've missed the Baghdad Bob Show... it was a riot! LOL Posted by: USF at June 26, 2003 08:56 PMUSF.....are they going to interview him? If they are really going to 'call him on the carpet', you're right, it would probably set a ratings record ! Everybody knows a habitual liar and how much fun it is to grill them when they are caught 'red handed'. Posted by: Jeff B at June 26, 2003 09:10 PMJeff. Well according to what Abu Dhabi TV told reuters, theres an interview on. If for some reason it falls thru, theres always that 3pm friday one on Al-Arabiya. Im pretty sure that the major networks will pick it up. Sit back and watch the fun :) Posted by: USF at June 26, 2003 09:21 PMI am just waiting for Jay Leno to put him on. That would be great! Posted by: John Moore (Useful Fools) at June 27, 2003 01:08 AMJohn, Letterman's the guy to roast Baghdad Bob. Leno doesn't have Dave's touch. Good fun either way. Posted by: Elvis at June 27, 2003 04:43 AMI like those bush hating monkeys like ptg, anthony those deluded fools from democratic underground.
