Saddam's Ex-Wife Seeks Asylum in England

Saddam Hussein's ex-wife and his two daughters are reportedly planning to seek asylum in Britain - and want to live in Leeds.

They chose the West Yorkshire city because Saddam's cousin already lives there - and want to bring ten of Saddam's grandchildren with them.

But the Home Office said their bid will fail.

"There is no question of any member of Saddam's family being allowed into Britain to claim asylum," a spokesman said.

The ex-wife, Sajida, is the mother of Uday and Qusay.

They'll have to change some legislation to stop them then.
