Russia Extends Olive Branch To U.S. Over Iraq

From MSNBC:

Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov moved on Thursday to help heal his country's bruised relationship with the United States, following Russia's adamant opposition to the invasion of Iraq.

''We can confidently say that Russian-U.S. relations have passed another serious test,'' Ivanov wrote in a column in London's Times newspaper.

Russia is almost as devious as France. Spit in our face then, as the dust settles, claim that this was just a disagreement.."another serious test" has passed. No concern about damage done via "double dealing." No addmission of being incorrect. When will reality set in?

Back in March they had very strong statements apposing the US and our actions. Now they want to make light of it all...ignoring the harm that they could well have done to our military men. Can't they admit anything...fess up??

O.K. I'm frustrated with Russia's damaging stand and then trying to weasel out of it!!

Russia is sucking up now because they see how useless their millitary planners in Iraq were, and Afghanistan for that matter.
Maybe they are looking for some advice to use in chechnia.
Russians sure aren't going to like that USA military in Poland either.....
