US Fires Baathist Police Chief In Iraq

From ABC News in the US:

West Baghdad police chief Abdul Razak al-Abbassi was dismissed Sunday, said Lt. Col. Richard Vanderlinden, commander of the U.S. Army's 709th Military Police Battalion.

Al-Abbassi was found to have had full membership in Saddam Hussein's Baath Party, disqualifying him from any of the three top positions in an Iraqi government bureaucracy, Vanderlinden said.

A 33-year veteran of the force, Al-Abbassi helped coax Baghdad police to return to work and rebuild their looted station houses, and restarted patrols in a city under siege from Kalashnikov-wielding carjackers and looters.

This guy could score a job delivering for Pizza Hut. No, scratch that, he'd scare the hell out of the customers. Let's get him a job as towel boy in a Nevada brothel.

And US didnt know he had "full membership in Saddam Hussein's Baath Party" up to now?
Or did they, and they just prefered to shut their mouth for a while and use his service in what they couldnt do themselves, and still cant.

well Jeb, since nobody answered you for a whole DAY, I will.
It's sorta like me, being a freindly guy and all, needing something from someone I really don't like.

For instance, I'm your boss, and we are out on a job, I just paid you, but I hate your guts.
I won't tell you this to your face, so, I'll invite you to hang out with the "boys" at the bar, make you spend your paycheck, buying rounds for "the boss" till you run out of money; (spilled your gutts in a drunken stupor)
Then, when you think you have a job the next day, and try come to work, I fire you, and really fuck your mind up, which is really not functioning right from all that booze from "last night"

I guess thats why your a liberal, huh Jeb?

I guess, if anyone didn't get,

the moral of the story is

"don't come to work with booze on your breath"
