Truman Carrier Battle Group Comes Home

As is currently being showed on Fox, via an occaisional live feed from onboard one of the ships.

The feed shows a gray, overcast, with light rain. From my vantage point here in the local area, I can report that the rain is quite light, and the temperature is fairly warm. Looking out over the Back River, the sea state appears quite calm, even out towards the open water.

The sailors lining the rails, well, something tells me that the weather isn't really a concern of theirs at all right now.

Welcome home, Navy. Well done.

When you come home from a tour, there is just no better feeling than "comming home"
It's a time when you, as a serviceman, Look at your own country, and see, that it isn't all bad, "things are much better here, than over there"
You see your wife, maybe a new child, or, if your single, you see your brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, and you are glad they live in a better place, unlike horrible things you saw in the country you went to "work" in.
here we get debreifed, then your on leave for a few months, too allow you to refocus, reflect on your experiences,
Ajust.
Then you get to listen to these protestors, who have never done anything for anyone, spew their therories, disrespect their countrymen, government, The values of the nation;

This brings on a period of depresion for servicemen, but it is short lived, because reality tells them that fighting and giving a damn for their nation is worth every drop of blood, If gives their childrenm and their children a brighter future, They see that the fight for freedom is worth giving to every nation of the world, because, this is how we want to live.

Good point, just wanted to re-emphasize it.

Don't worry, what goes around comes around. One day there may come a time of reckoning, when people who served the ideals of America will remember those who worked to undermine them.

And if you want to understand the rhyme and reason of those who constantly work to undermine America's ideals and culture, read this:

You Can Trust the Communists (to be Communists) by Dr. Fred. Schwarz

It's a short, concise book that traces the influence of Communism on the world since the early 1800s. It explains the tactics Communists use (subversion of student-intellectuals, Political Correctness, moral relativism, statism, etc.), and makes it plain that Communism is far from dead, only the name is gone. It's an eye-opener.
