More Saddam torture stories

The stories of Iraqi oppression under Saddam keep coming. And these by congregants at The Babylonian Jewish Center, from Queens, Great Neck, and Nassau, NY., some of whom were smuggled out of Iraq by Kurdish militiamen.

Juxtaposed to that story in the Guardian is an article my Tim Robbins about how lefties are being treated in the US.

While I sympathize with Tim a bit and agree that some of the far right clearly are out-of-hand, the contrast between the tortured Iraqis and the naive hollywood stance is striking.
