Former Iraqi Spy Chief Hijazi in U.S. Custody

Former Iraqi spy chief Farouk Hijazi, accused of plotting to assassinate former President George Bush in the 1990s, was detained near Iraq's border with Syria, said a U.S. official on Friday.

"He (Hijazi) is in custody and was picked up in Iraq near the Syrian border yesterday (Thursday) Iraqi time. I have no more details about the circumstances (of his arrest)," the U.S. official, who requested anonymity, told Reuters.

If you believed the left media, you'd be excused for thinking the opposite of what 'Iraqi freedom' has been - a staggering, unqualified success.

It will be interesting to see what this clown has to say for himself.

Also interesting, anonymous US guy claiming he/she has no details with the possibility that Syria found him, took him to a order checkpoint, and said "Start walking or be shot".
