Today Kanan Makiya, the leading Iraqi intellectual in exile, gave a comprehensive report of the first meeting of democratic voices in Iraq held last Tuesday in Nasiriya. He also took questions from the media for an extended period. CSPAN broadcast the Washington, DC press conference live; the RealPlayer webcast is available here. It's 100 minutes, but well worth it.
