Finance minister captured

Iraqi finance minister Hikmat al-Azzawi has been captured by Iraqi police in Baghdad and handed over to the US military, a Central Command spokesman has said.
Al-Azzawi was number 45 on the US most wanted list of 55 top Iraqi officials but was not one of Saddam's inner-circle of advisers - the so-called dirty dozen.

The finance minster was the eight of diamonds in the US military's most wanted pack of cards.
