Weapons Inspectors to enter Iraq soon

Not UN ones. Australians. From The Australian

A Team of 12 Australian specialists will travel to Iraq within a week to help in the search for weapons of mass destruction, Defence Minister Robert Hill said today.
"The Prime Minister mentioned last week that the Australian government is prepared to provide a component to a coalition sponsored group of specialists that will continue that task for some time," Senator Hill said during the Australian Defence Force's daily war briefing.
"We have now settled on a defence team of some 12 specialists who will be going to Iraq in the next week or so to make a contribution on Australia's behalf to ensuring that full benefit is taken in terms of avoiding a threat from weapons of mass destruction in the future."
Other Australians earmarked for Iraq include a team of Air Traffic Controllers to help re-open Baghdad International Airport.

the US and australian weapons experts are "blind mice"?

Posted by: time at April 15, 2003 12:57 AM

What blind mice? These arent the UN goons, but Aussie comrades doing their part in supporting the coalition. Methinsk they will far more effective helping us find WMDs than Hans Blix, who alternates between being a shitbag, scumbag, dirtbag and gasbag, depending on the time of day.

Seems from commentary some people (aby)style themselves as experts but don't even read the articles. they also have no idea who our allies are.

I suggest a new op-plan rule:

At no time shall the total number of personnel looking for WMDs exceed the total number of combat troops in the Iraq TAO.

But the trend is the other way, right now.
