Iraqi commentator cites an eye witness, saying to al-Jazeera that Saddam is dead.
So says this Russian site. The commantator is named Amer Haffah. The alleged eye witness is said to have been guarding the meeting in al-Mansur in which Saddam was taking part just before the bombing by the US. The site cites ITAR-TASS corr. Victor Lebedev. Got it? Posted by: Alisa at April 13, 2003 09:32 PMSo he's still alive then. Yep, doesn't get any clearer than that. He's still alive and in seria. Posted by: jeff at April 13, 2003 09:39 PMI have never heard more cynical people in all of my born days! Well, maybe the IRS agent that audited me, but let's not open old wounds --- Posted by: Jrm at April 13, 2003 09:45 PMSaddam was last seen with Elvis, boarding a flying saucer on the way to visit Michael Jackson at Neverland. Posted by: Cowboy Bob at April 13, 2003 10:01 PMFine. If killed at the meeting there will be some DNA at the scene. Until such confirmation one should assume he's alive. Posted by: yank at April 13, 2003 10:04 PMAl Jazeera would report that the moon's made of green cheese if an arab information minister said it. Posted by: General Patton, in France at April 13, 2003 10:13 PMcall me a racist if you like {i personally dont give a SHIT} but russiana french and germany have proven to me that they lie thru there teeth...how many more weapons from the 3 above mentioned countrys need to be found before everyone starts to get clear vision.? brisfcase machine guns from germany, russian made jamming devices, and french missles and french food have all been found in iraq. shit the head of russia is a damn secret policeman. so what i am saying is if it comes from either of the 3 countrys in a newspaper or from there presidents ITS A LIE.... Posted by: aby normal at April 13, 2003 10:17 PMThis is the most unreliable source of information. It's a Russian site reporting on an item from Al-Jazzera about some "eye witness". Rolling dice is about as reliable. Posted by: ElCapitanAmerica at April 13, 2003 10:24 PMYes,he is still alive, absolutely. That man, over there, with the seeing eye-dog,he saw Saddam. ElCaptainAmerica, Hear! Hear! ...but I do have to admit that I read the cover of the tabloids in the checkout stand. Hey, maybe the enquirer will get a scoop interview with Saddam?! Posted by: mabry at April 13, 2003 10:46 PMSpeaking of tabloids, do you think it's just a coincidence that the tabloids are just now announcing the discovery of oil on the moon? Just when we get into OPEC, now the tabloids are trying to destabilize that for us. Posted by: jerry at April 13, 2003 10:51 PMHe's dead, Jim.
