Fox - Geraldo reports possible MIA remains found

Geraldo Rivera just gave a report on Fox including footage of 101st Abn units recovering the possible remains of one of the US MIA. Geraldo indicates the identity is known, but not being released pending notification of relatives.

This was carried on CNN about 2 hours ago. According to CNN, the remains "were found in a shallow grave, if you can even call it that". It's not clear whether it was a POW or a missing soldier killed in the fighting in Baghdad.

I must say I'm not optimistic about the MIA's and POW's. We're reading one horror story after another about what the Iraqis have done to their own people for decades. Now, we've turned their elite and their Gestapo into hunted criminals and street bums.

I guess it's possible the POWs are alive and have been taken to Tikrit. I think we'd have found them by now if they were in Baghdad.

I think the fuss over Pfc. Lynch should be muted. It's wonderful she's live, but the other POW families aren't likely to see their loved ones again. The Lynch family statement reflected that concern. They seem like a classy bunch of people.
