This site should be put in the op/ed tab (anti-muslim).

Posted by: kyotodioxide at April 10, 2003 10:03 AM

Where is the post anti-muslim? I only saw references to France...

Posted by: gabriel syme at April 10, 2003 10:06 AM

See this site's posts in december.
He's focusing on the war and the French "no war" stance, but his motives are more like "islam is the most stupid religion in the world", etc. etc.

Posted by: kyotodioxide at April 10, 2003 10:18 AM

So what? Even if he were anti-muslim, which he is not, why should that matter? We link to plenty anti-Western arab sources...

I have been reading Dissident Frogman from the start and I disagree with your interpretation of his motives. Seems like you have an agenda, not 'le Frogman'...

Posted by: gabriel syme at April 10, 2003 10:21 AM

Have you read the december posts ?
It's mainly about the "Dumbest religion" (weaken translation of "la religion la plus con")
I do not say that it should be censored, he makes good points, but it belongs to the op/ed tab, cause it's pure personnal political comment.

Posted by: kyotodioxide at April 10, 2003 10:42 AM

Are you talking about the post I linked to? How is that a pure personal political comment?

I have not linked to the post you keep referring to. We also link to many blogs, that are by definition sites based around 'pure personal political commentary'! Many analyses in the media, by ex-general, miliatary experts etc, are also personal political opinions. What's your point?

Posted by: gabriel syme at April 10, 2003 11:02 AM

Gabriel: Thanks for the link to this collegial piece of work.

kyotodioxite: the "Dumbest Religion" is a gimmick I've been using since the Michel Houellebecq trial (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/arts/2260922.stm).

May a suggest taking a walk, a deep breathe of fresh here and coming back when you'll be able to discern between "hatred" and "sarcasm" ?

I have no problem whatsoever with Muslims, but I DO HAVE a few issues pending with Islamism [and just in case it's not clear for you yet, that means fundamentalist Islam, ok?]

Thanks for your sophism, have a nice day.

Hey thanks frogman, the 1028 version is now my official desktop wallpaper.

Professional work, as always!

I worked with the Frogman for this artwork (http://www.axisofweasels.com) The Frogman is a brilliant artist, and a modern day Lafayette.

If all Frenchmen were the Frogman, France would be Texas.
