Is this fighting releated to this story? "TAKING UP camp on the outskirts of Nasiriyah, the soldiers belong to the Iraqi National Congress and are being led by Ahmed Chalabi, a London-based former banker and principal founder of the INC. Chalabi was among those flown to the southern Iraqi city from Kurdish-controlled northern Iraq." http://www.msnbc.com/news/896606_asp.htm?0cv=CB10 Somebody please post this: I work in the San Fran financial district. Four jet fighters just passed close overhead (rattled the windows on the 18th floor) in intercept formation heading up the coast which happens to be one of the flight approach paths for SFO. Posted by: bill at April 7, 2003 04:24 PMBill: I'm in SF too. Those jets were doing a flyover for opening day at PacBell park. Not to worry. Posted by: R. McLeod at April 7, 2003 04:26 PMBill, I'd be changing my underwear if I had been there. Crimony. Posted by: Casey at April 7, 2003 04:34 PMBill - I was in NYC on 9/11, and remember how everyone cringed when the fighters roared overhead while patrolling right afterwards. I know exactly how you felt just now. Posted by: ZeSurrenderMonkey at April 7, 2003 04:38 PMI live near a air base, where the Canadians under the Norad command fly 10 times a day patroling nothern USA states. Formation flights are a noramal dispatch. I like watching those hornets fly, no big deal, it's routine Posted by: Billy at April 7, 2003 06:30 PMPost a comment
