'Pakistani tribesman eager to join holy war in Iraq'
On Yahoo News (AFP) Thousands of Pakistani tribesmen eager to join 'holy war' in Iraq "Government should make arrangements for 10,000 volunteers of this area to take part in jihad (holy war) against US forces in Iraq," Maulana Mohammad Zaman, a religious leader of the Skhakot tribal region bordering Afghanistan told a crowd of some 500 people. The story includes a convoy that for some reason reminds me of the 'convoy' of human shields. It is almost as though the two ends of the spectrum have merged into one - Crazy hippy peacenicks and Islamic warriors. Perhaps they could split gas money?
