Command Post noted on CNN

Glenn Reynolds has just given us a plug . . . on our de-Fisking, no less. More to follow, I'm sure.

SHAMELESS SITE PROMOTION: Kudos to Alan E. Brain for blogging the original story and Judith for the fancy twist . . . And, hey, thanks, Glenn!

Just watched that.. Excellent.. And hey, as Aaron Brown said, here we are, blogging that CNN segment in "a minute".

And of course, it got blogged 40 minutes before it happened. ;)

Yes, getting "Fisk has discovered an Iraqi war crime" onto CNN was a major coup. Bravo!

ya know...Gleen might just turn out to be blizer/arnnet publisher of this war..above and beyond the idealogical differences
what do you guys think?

Meryl Yourish just met Aaron Brown's challenge of blogging about the interview in about a minute with a comment about his concerns with factuality of blogs and how he ought to turn the same attention to the major media.

I dread the day they announce to the world the the CP is here (and the best). When that day comes, I fear that this server will be so overloaded that the CP will no longer be my dear and true source of the "FACTS".

The CP is a GREAT thing but I admit that I am selfish...

Good for Meryl. Damned right.

I was busy explaining to someone here in this house that the days when these people can talk down to us and then saunter off to the Emmies are over. This is a person who grew up with radio in the 40's, and he was bug-eyed at the prospects.

Pay attention: Brown. We're going to eat your lunch, man, and you will richly deserve it. Within ten years, you people will be lucky to get a gig walking the land in sack-cloth & ashes.

At the other end of the news-and-commentary food chain, I'd say a couple of the embbeddeds are going to walk away from this as minor celebs who—if smart about it—will be able to pull together some amazing books in about a year.
