My uninformed wild-ass guess is that something happened a few hours or even days ago that really put the Kibosh on them. We may not know what that is, or someone on our side's not telling (yet. Anything from Spec Forces taking out their WMD capability to a critically-injured Saddam dying on the operating table. But I'm guessing here, I've got no data other than this speech to work on, so relaibility estimate is very low.

I have a theory that this mass movement of muslim morons into Iraq is actually a good thing for the sane people of the earth, muslim and non-muslim. If these fools move into Iraq and let us slaughter them, as the thousands of Fadayeen have so far, then that might be the most economical way of wiping out a whole generation of zealots who would otherwise bring pain and suffering on the whole world, also muslim and non-muslim.
