Allies Bomb RG on Outskirts of Baghdad
The air assault on Iraq continued Friday, as American-led forces dropped 1,000-pound bombs on Republican Guard units guarding the gates to Baghdad and battled for control of the strategic city of Nasiriyah. You can even have a really bad hairstyle (props to The Historian & Cranky) and still get taken seriously if you know what you're talking about. If you know your stuff, and ain't just blowin' out yer piehole, people will listen and hopefully engage you in spirited debate.

This later is a carry over from the archaic spelling once formalized throughout sixteenth-century Europe.
