Lying sacks of s---. Posted by: aelfheld at March 27, 2003 12:34 PM'in war, truth is the first casualty' Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC). and the war started a long time ago. Posted by: angrYkook at March 27, 2003 12:39 PMand they think American media is after ratings... Sure we have talking heads... But we don't show blown off heads from either side... War sucks.. war is violent and should be avoided... But I guess in the Western world its Lesbians=Ratings... in the Middle-east it seems to be different.. Posted by: Mark at March 27, 2003 12:48 PMI don't have trouble with al-Jazeera showing the pictures. It is terrible, but it will eventually backfire. By the way this is not a "middle eastern" thing. Grusome pictures are common in many media across the world. Al-Jazeera has other problems. bias occurs everwhere, and tastes vary, but outright consistant skewing of the facts as occurs on Al_jazeera is problematic.
