Blair: specifically ensuring future of Iraq
BBC asks questions about the length of the war. Blair reiterates that the campaign has been conducted to safeguard and ensure the future of Iraq after Saddam's regime. Bush: "I have nothing to add to that." Posted By bryan at March 27, 2003 11:19 AM | TrackBackComments
Wow... the more I hear PM Blair speak the more impressed I become. Posted by: ballman at March 27, 2003 11:27 AMWish someone had posted a heads-up earlier -- I completely cheesed this -- as I, too, would have liked to hear what Cherie's husband had to say. As to Mr. Bush ... well, out of respect for the office I usually wait for his words to appear in print. I understand that what he says matters, not how he says it. But to hear him speak live requires too much effort ignoring the form to allow a proper appreciation of the content. Off to find a transcript. Posted by: Lola at March 27, 2003 12:28 PMEffie, the object of communication is to convey ideas or thoughts. GWB has no problem doing that. Posted by: Larry at March 27, 2003 01:56 PMPost a comment
