Iraqi Army: Suicide Bomber Destroys Tank Of US-British Alliance
An Iraqi carried out a suicide bombing attack in the southern region of Faw overnight and destroyed a tank of the US-British alliance, an Iraqi military spokesperson said on Tuesday. "The first suicide attack was carried out this night," Hazem al-Rawi told a press conference in Baghdad. The attack was carried out in the Faw peninsula, which British forces say they have secured. We'll see, ssooner or later. whether or not it is true, the mere fact that iraq boasts that they destroyed a single tank... shows how poorly the war is going for iraq. and it took someone strapping a bomb to their chests to do it. -- i suppose it just shows that muslim's are GREAT at dieing. Posted by: Ribbity Frog at March 25, 2003 11:16 PMI'd be surprised if that were accurate -- the Palestinians and Hezbollah have extremely sophisticated explosives skills and they've only destroyed IDF tanks with enormous planted bombs.
