CNN finally caught on to the "Howard Dean Uses The Web" story. They must have been reading Doonesbury ... every day last week. Read their take; there is this:
Then there is blogforamerica.com (blog is short for weblog), a candid daily journal updated by staffers from wherever Dean happens to be. Communications director Kate O'Connor was reluctant to file to the blog at first, but her entry writing — sprinkled with exclamation points ("we are driving in a hybrid vehicle!!")--has become a huge hit in the Dean community. "It's amazing," gushes O'Connor. "I have a following."Sure ... but it is like his?
Ha! How ironic is it that this conservative blog is the one that turned me on to Howard Dean's campaign? Thanks, Command Post!
Posted by: Liberal D-Bag at July 8, 2003 10:04 AMLDB - Editor's note ... many of our readers are conservative, but Michele and I try to just post straight news here without bias (lots of bias among our commentors though), and rant on it elsewhere.
So in that context, you're welcome!

You don't mind if I go to the chum bucket just once, do you? GOOD!
Liberal D-Bag - Is the 'D' for Demo (as in, demoderby), Ditty, or just plain 'DIRT'? What you really ought to be lookin' for is a launDry bag for all the soiled blue dresses layin' around.
