Graham Stumps In Arizona

From the Arizona Republic:

As the glow of military success in Iraq fades, President Bush will face the same decline in popularity his father experienced after the first Gulf War, U.S. senator and presidential candidate Bob Graham said Friday.

A bad economy sank the first President Bush, and "we're having a very parallel, indifferent, clueless" approach to the current slump, the Florida Democrat said on his first visit to Arizona.

what he didn't mention is the slump got worse in the 8 years following bush senior.... and so did national debt.

Democrats would love to paint 43 with the same brush as 41. A single incident, where Bush Sr. was surprised that a check-out laser was able to read a damaged package, was construed to imply he'd never been through a check-out line before, never had any real contact with normal life - this is the type of incident they're praying for now.

Graham would know all about "clueless" as he runs with a pack that still has its hopes pinned on the DNC's spin of the Florida election debacle.

Name one cohert proposal from any democratic candidate that doesn't include bankrupting the economy.

Just one.
