2004 US Presidential Election
November 02, 2004
New Jersey | NJN - Kerry won NJ by 10%
NJN is reporting that exit polls show Kerry winning NJ by 10%. Reportedly, Iraq was Bush’s Achilles Heel in NJ. A large percentage of voters supported Bush’s actions on terrorism, but a similar large percentage of voters were unhappy with Bush’s actions in Iraq. Minorities overwhelming went for Kerry. All of this is NJN analysis based on exit polling. No news on House races yet - I’ll bring them to you as NJN starts calling them. Ahh, Yes. the usual Rove treatment/smoke screen. Bush travels to a state he knows that he will lose in order to gin up support for GOP candidates and give confidence to BC‘04 1voters wavering in other states. This method-o-operation generates positive media treatment and further jawboning from the pundits, which Bush and his staff use to garner him a few extra points for the national polls, Zogby be damned Posted by: Bruce J.
