Good evening Command-Post Readers and to all of readers that live in the great state of Tennessee. My name is Mike Lawson and I am blogging from the GOP party in the downtown Hilton in Knoxville, Tn. I will try to keep you all informed on the state level races as well as local issues from the East Tennessee area, If you would like to know how a particular issue that was on the ballot today, just ask in the comment box.

Hello, Mike,

My name is Kit and my husband is Larry. We will be relocating to Eastern TN within the next few months. Naturally, I was immediately interested when I came across your blogspot on the Command Center.

Can you give me a brief summary of what the special local issues in E TN are that apparently are on the ballot? My husband and I are very conservative Republicans and are hopeful that E TN remains conservative Republican through its elected officials and ballot measures.
