| CBS Says that Kerry's Joe Lockard is optimistic

Bob Scheiffer told us breathlessly that he just got off the phone with Joe Lockard of the Kerry Campaign and that Joe thinks a big turnout is good for Kerry.

Dan Rather stumbled and bumbled his way to a break while repeating that he would rather be late than wrong. He underscored again that there will be no fast answers to the question of “Who won?”
