Misc. | Election Day Feature: Electoral College Tracker

We’ve set up a graphic tracker for the Electoral College vote counts over at the top of the right-hand column. We’ll update the counts as the states come in … and remember: 270 to win.

The current projection over at Election Projection? Bush 286, Kerry 252.

And at Electoral Vote? Kerry 283, Bush 246.

The Washington Redskins lost today, so if history holds Kerry will win. To date, that has been a perfect predictor of the Presidential incumbent’s success in the election which immediately follows the Redskins’ game.

Also, all sports predictors went down the drain when the Sox broke the curse. Anything can happen this year.

Go Packers!

Rob_NC,

Hey hey now…be careful there Tarheel-boy. God made the sky BLUE as a reminder of the best College Basketball team He created…that part is true…but it ain’t because of those Tarheels. It’s because of the Kentucky Wildcats(and yes I was standing as I typed that).

…and your wife must be a truely beautiful and brilliant woman. Something had to overcome her love for the Dukies…I still can’t forget Laitner’s stomp on our Timberlake while he was down or that prayer shot he made later that same game.

Well Rob, at least we can agree on something. I graduated from UNC Law class of ‘87. I bet Franklin Street was off the charts Saturday night. Halloween and the win over Miami at the same time.
