hmmm. . . . guess Bush is a regular guy . . . now Kerry will need to pretend he does this too.

I didn’t have a problem with Jenna Bush sticking out her tongue at the cameras a little while back. Heck, no teen-age kid in a White House family can be expected to live a squeaky-clean life (remember Amy Carter?). And heaven knows, sometimes the pop media could use a little tweaking and chain-yanking.

But come on, wasn’t GWB old enough to know better by then?

gus the tape just proves that bush does not have a stick stuck up his ass like kerry does bush does not have to go around dressed up like elmer fudd and shoot a goose to prove that he is a regular guy

You want a regular guy to be President your country? That’s a fairly pathetic requirement.

I’d agree that a president should reflect the needs and be able to communicate complex issues with ‘regular guys’. Maybe show some positive characteristics of ‘regular guys’ that he represents but this guy is a moron, and frankly an embarrassment to America and maybe a bit too ‘regular’.

Yup. Regular. Now, if we’re discussin’ Regular Liars… How can you beat a guy that’s been doin’ it regular-like for over thirty years???

Wow, so I guess the old saying is true: Money really can’t buy dignity or class.

it was the kerry campaign that said that he was going hunting to prove to conservatitve voters that he was a regular guy im sure that he got the united nations approval first before he shot that goose

symptomless:

I doubt whether a “moron” could become POTUS, or even Governor of Texas. But for the sake of argument, let’s say one can, given enough backing and money.

But if you think a “moron” could drive an F-102A Delta Dagger, you’re deeply ignorant of aviation.

I suppose I should have expected this. I post a 10-year old video clip that I thought was whimsically amusing, and get a barrage of partisan BS. Must be a difference in culture I guess, Australians think some things are far too important to take too seriously.

aebrain:

a “moron” could become POTUS, or even Governor of Texas if he’s elected POTUS, or even Governor of Texas.

Its up to the people to decide whether they want a moron as their president or not.

If you don’t think that a moron could drive jet fighter do you think that a jet fighter could act in a moronic manner?

This isn’t a partisan issue, and I certainly haven’t implied it is. That’s up for others to apply the non-sequitors.

ae, for the sake of politeness lets not get started on Australian’s political ‘antics’;)

As for the UK, the current Deputy Prime Minister has had a few ‘comical’ and colourful moments:

The difference between Prescott and Bush is that he’s not arrogent or moronic in his behaviour, and whilst he’s not the most diplomatic he is certainly respected for his actions by the regular UK voter, if not his beliefs.

if bush is a moron than what does that make ann richards and al gore?

Posted by: navyvetagainstkerry [TypeKey Profile Page] at October 28, 2004 12:53 PM

AEB,
The clip is amusing (should we laugh at Bush or with him?). But at the same time it’s also sad and revealing.

ok, ep

Yup. And I wanna see a VideoClip of John. Q. Adams on one of his Skinnydippin’ escapades. What a hoot.
