Bush | Early Voting Problems for GOP in Florida?
I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who travelled down to Florida to work for the GOP at the polls. He’s monitoring the early voting in southern Florida and he says it’s a zoo. There’s very little Republican presence monitoring the voting, while Democrats are out in force at the early voting stations. He reports that Democratic thugs are blocking parking access for clearly Republican voters, and there has been at least one incident involving a shotgun. My friend, who’s got quite a bit of campaign experience and grew up in Florida, sounded dejected about the GOPs efforts thus far. So, we have someone WORKING for the GOP who is claiming interference by Democratic “thugs”. Quelle surprise. I’d be surprised if he weren’t complaining about the Dems. Posted by: Mark Seriously, this from a man who’s party’s constituents are trying to reinstate a modern day version of the Jim Crow laws! Posted by: redSun Redsun: Provide specifics, please. I’m just a poor, dumb asshole who needs facts before I’ll buy crap like what you’re trying to sell. Especially since the only party in the last 20 years who’s proposed Draft legislation is the Democratic party - and they were bemoaning a return of the draft if Bush gets elected. “SEE? The legislation’s waiting!” - while they seem to neglect to mention which party actually WROTE it. J. Posted by: JLL3 Post a comment
