2004 US Presidential Election
October 12, 2004
| Another Bush HQ Burglarised
From the Seattle Times : Offices that house President Bush’s re-election campaign in Spokane were broken into and vandalized last night, the latest in a string of crimes at Republican offices across the country. Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is Enemy Action. Posted by Alan Brain at October 12, 2004 07:31 AM | TrackBack Comments
Hmmmm, union thugs? Whacko leftist nitwits pining for a return to the sixties? Desperate drug addicts in need of something to pawn to sustain their self destructive habits? Mythical burning of so called black churches made headlines, but this pattern of behavior gets scant mention. There’s a pattern and it’s troubling to say the least. Posted by: skip Skip, What the heck are you talking about? This story is being reported all over. Try google news for instance. ok, ep Posted by: elvispresley2k to quote Bob Dole: Where’s the outrage? Posted by: skip More attacks by the “Party of Peace”, you know, the embracers of Diversity. I guess they feel their anger at the attrocities in Iraq committed by Coalition Forces, like these: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=282896 … justifies any action against the “Evil Bush” Posted by: Max Darkside Is there any evidence this was politically motivated? Racicot…said he does not blame Democratic groups for the incidents. The same article also notes: The break-ins happened amid other reports of crimes and altercations at Bush campaign offices in other states, and vandalism at some John Kerry offices around the country. Source: Seattle Times Call me a skeptic, but this one sounds like your typical B&E (petty cash stolen and an attempt to steal a TV). Perhaps this campaign office was targeted because the thiefs, being enterprising capitalists and therefore looking for the largest possible economic gain vs. risk, realized a Bush campaign office probably has more cash lying around than the typical Kerry campaign office. It’s also curious why any (organized/rational) lib/dem group committed to defeating the current administration would attempt such a stupid, pointless exercise, with Bush falling in polls (perhaps not in WA though?), a stagnant economy, and with Iraq boiling over—assuming these kind of acts would hinder the Bush campaign in any serious way. Actually I think the reverse effect is true: These incidents, reports help the Bush campaign. The mention of Dole is ironic (to me) since B.D. so staunchly defended the Nixon administration during the early stages of its scandals (denouncing the reports of a link between the White House and the watergate business.) ok, ep Posted by: elvispresley2k Ah, EP look how wrong you can be. note that I pointed out that there might be several reasons behind the break ins. As for your assessment of the current political environment, look how wrong you can be. Posted by: skip Elvis, could it be due to such rabid hatred that drove these losers to carry out these attacks. After all, they are only standing up to the “chimp in chief”, and laws only apply to republicans anyway. Despite all that you quote as going wrong, and how Bush “obviously reeks of evil” as one DU poster put it, the left can’t seem to pull ahead of the President. So in their fustrated rage they break in to the local republican HQ so they can sabotage the mind control beams forcing all those otherwise Kerry supporters to vote for Bush. Sarcasm, yes. But I would put money on this being seriously considered on a DU thread, right after they finish blaming Carl Rove. Posted by: Brian Brian, I’ve seen quite a few off-colour remarks pointed at JK/JE (as well as the omniscient/scary liberal media overlords) on this very site, so I guess we can conclude the right-wing is suffering from the very same frustrated fits of violent rage. :) ok, ep Posted by: elvispresley2k Wow…maybe I have been all wrong about Kerry. I guess I never thought about it this way… Posted by: DevilDoc Democrat HQ in Toledo, OH got burglarized last night, they took the computers. Story in the Toledo Blade. Workers swore they put tha alarm on before they left. Sounds like pros to me, but WTF do I know. Posted by: Mark Adams I have yet to hear anyone mention the fact that, Heinz Corp has moved and opened facilities in foreign country’s to CASH in on CHEAP LABOR. Kerry bashes Pres. Bush for sending jobs outside the US. Its time the voters see Kerry for what he is, a forked tongue serpent. Please, lets get this info out in the mainstream of voters, BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!
