Badnarik | Court Orders Hearing On Whether Presidential Debate Should Be Halted

The New York Sun reports a state judge in Arizona ordered a hearing on whether the third presidential debate should be halted because the Libertarian Party’s nominee for president, Michael Badnarik has not been invited.

Of course it shouldnt go on, what the two main parties are doing is just plain unconstitutional.

Besides, state funds shouldnt go to fund a federal election debate, that doesnt make any sense. In a round a bout way, state tax dollars are being used to pay for a 90 minute commercial..

The Gubmint is not keeping the Libertarian out. So nothing unConstitutional is happening.

There is no requirement that each and every crackpot twit under the sun out there gets Free Prime Time.

Let the “debate” be between the two Big Dogs in the hunt. The rest of them yapping madly away only make noise.

I’m not sure what the Gubmint is or even why this word is Capitalised, but a party that is on the ballot in 48 states shouldn’t be discounted. Besides, the big two have enough loose cash to fund these debates themselves. Why should I have to pay for a debate judged on style points?

I say cancel the stupid debates. I’m sick and tired of the rhetoric on both sides. Kerry, with his tiring, circular, debating style makes me want to puke all over my coffee table. I mean, I feel dizzy after listening to his diatribes. That jerk actually thinks he has the dumb sheep roaming around college campuses nationwide convinced not one more soldier will die if he becomes prez. Sad thing is, he does have them convinced.

Bush just retorts with “Global Test! Global Test!” because he’s so frustrated with the whole thing. Real impressive set of potential leaders we have here. What a joke.

We could always throw Nader in for a good laugh. Maybe he could lecture America on how we’re hurting the bunnies and kitties because of our affinity for drinking beer and watching football. And I’m talking about American Football, not that score-once-a-year sport. There’s more scoring going on in a married man’s bedroom than in Futbol!

Oh my god. I agree with Don.

The election will be won by only one of the two main parties, but make them debate with all who are on enough ballots to statistically win the election.

Consider liberty and vote for Badnarik.

Sadly TL, I gotta side with Don on this one too. Hell, I don’t know whatever I’d do without my dose of Gubmint. That and some MD20/20 gets me through my day…

Good thing we don’t use doublemint on the candidates, right Doc? The last thing I want to see is two Kerry’s on both sides of an issue.

Geeesh, DevilDoc! You didn’t have any problem posting that one here! Perhaps you had too much of the HYPERdermic stuck in the text on RT’s blog…
