Geesh…I pretty sick of this whole race. There is no debating the issues because the only thing the Dems wanna “debate” about is Iraq. It seems that every other issue brings on platitudes, FUD, and “When I was in Vietnam…” or “I had a case once where…”. Come on guys…don’t tell me your tales of woe, don’t tell me you “have a plan”, TELL ME YOUR PLAN. If you can’t distill it to a sound bite or a 120 second responce then you don’t understand it yerself.

I’m done with the debates. I’m done with the campaigns. See ya’ll in the election booth…I’ll be the one slamming the REPUBLICAN TICKET button as hard as I can while apologizing to the likes of Truman, FDR, and Kennedy for what their party has become.

okay…my last post on this…

Are the Kerry-Edwards campaign conveniently forgetting about 911 when they talk about the President NOT following through on his pre-911 campaign promise of uniting Washington??? We all knew that was a pipe dream but to expect President Bush to “unite” people when one side is filled with so much hatred for the MAN George W Bush is completely blind to reality. Of course it’s simple for them to make the claim…”You are a lieing theiving drug using mafioso…why aren’t you trying to unite us??” come on…

When will the Bush-Cheney ticket begin to offer solutions to domestic concerns such as healthcare and job losses in America? I listened as Vice President Cheney skirted the issue regarding how the current administration would create jobs by speaking of the need for better education. As an educated American with a Masters degree, I see the plight of many of my educated peers who can’t find a job or one paying a salary commensurate with the rise in cost of health insurance and other basic necessities. Edwards touched on this when he stated “How long can middle class Americans continue to see their income remain the same while the cost of everything else increases.” The middle class in America is slowly and painfully being choked to death. This administration needs to pull its head out of the sand and start addressing domestic issues.

Bush-Cheney tell me how I can continue to clothe and feed my child and keep a roof over her head when I just learned my health insurance premiums are being raised an average of $300.00 more a year and the taxes on my house another $200.00 a year, but my employer complains there’s no money in the budget for raises. Oh by the way they tacked on some $7.00 fee to the electric bill and I still haven’t figured out what it is yet but I’m sure it’s another hidden tax.

As for Iraq, I say bring our men and women home. Bush-Cheney, admit you made a mistake and cut your losses. Bring our tax dollars home where they can be put to better use and quit using scare tactics to hide your inabiity to deal with domestic issues. I can care less about Iraq and terrorist bombing my house when I don’t know if I’ll have a house for them to target, because of this administrations’ abiity to ignore domestic issues.

..you might want to go to you doctor and have him tell you what his expenses are..his malpactice insurance is probably more than you make in two years..then ask yourself ..WHY..TORK reform is a must..something the left doesn’t what to even talk about..pondering question…why..that’s right Virginia the biggest contributor to the democratic party is..and it aint the AMA..

stillundecided, you should use that Masters Degree and get out to find a job. The unemployment rate is lower now than any of the past 3 decades….are you telling us that the 95% who are working, should listen to you bitch on how hard it is to find work?!! There is a liberal teacher ad running here in Wisconsin that upon listening you would think the children are in the streets begging for food. The legacy of welfare and the ‘elitism’ of the liberals will keep them down and hateful, but the entrepreneurs of America will continue to be optimistic and get off their ass and work for progress.

Last night Cheney had fun playing with the pretty boy who seemed to talk a bit much about the ‘GAY’ issue. Edward Scissorhands was slick but looked like a boy attempting to get into the hall where real men work. Its fun to watch the dems spin this stuff; I think the Breck Girl almost cried when Cheney told him he slurred the Iraqi’s when he didn’t include them in the sacrifice for their own country. Bet that gets rid of the 90% this and 90% that comments from the fricks.

I’m not a Republican but I’m not exactly unbiased either. I believe in my heart of hearts that Kerry was a traitor to his country and his comrades in arms. I will never forgive that.

But last night I found myself beginning to feel sorry for Edwards. He was taking such a beating, it started out not like The Rumble in the Jungle or the Thrilla in Manilla, but more like Ali vs the Bayone Bleeder. A complete mismatch.

Then after about an hour it was more like the 300 pound grizzly vs a cub scout. Edwards was getting eaten alive and I was begging for someone to put a stop to it. They did not belong in the same arena.

That being said though, I don’t think the VP debate has any more impact on the election than stories like Kerry’s bottled orange sun tan.

stillundecided - take the skills you have with your Masters degree and go out and START YOUR OWN BUSINESS. The best job I ever had was the one I created for myself. I’m not working it anymore…at least not as much…because I made a simple decision. Did I want to work 18 hour days for 5 years or did I want to actually enjoy alittle of my success while I could. I CHOSE the easy path but I still have my shingle and think every morning about putting it back out.

Does that fix your healthcare problem? No. That’s not my point…my point is that waiting on DC or your local State government to provide you with a job befitting your “educated” status is wasting your time and my tax dollars.

Perhaps you missed where stillundecided mentioned his/her employer. It’s not that he’s unemployed, just bitching about rising costs and level wages.

He’s got a point there. However, I don’t agree that Kerry’s policy is the solution because… well, what is Kerry’s policy anyway? I can’t figure out where he stands.

Old timer -

I stand corrected…I did misread his post.

stillundecided -

Sorry for the blast.
