| Kerry Slams Bush over 'Colossal Failures' in Iraq
From the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) :
In a speech at New York University, Senator Kerry argued that the US-led invasion had weakened national security.”The President’s policy in Iraq precipitated the very problem he said he was trying to prevent,” Senator Kerry said. “Iraq is becoming a sanctuary for a new generation of terrorists who some day could hit the United States.”
[…]
“The President misled, miscalculated, and mismanaged every aspect of this undertaking,” Senator Kerry said, accusing Mr Bush of making “catastrophic decisions” and surrounding himself with ideologues who provide “stubborn incompetence”.
“The President now admits to miscalculations in Iraq.
“His were not the equivalent of accounting errors. They were colossal failures of judgment - and judgment is what we look for in a president.”
“George Bush has no strategy for Iraq. I do, and I have all along,” Senator Kerry said.

“Sanctuary for a new generation of terrorists?” Kerry and the democrats seem to have the memory of tropical fish. These terrorists aren’t new, they’re literally the same terrorists that the left claimed didn’t exist when Colin Powell was pointing them out before the United Nations eighteen months ago.
Apparently Kerry believes that rooting out 30 years of fascist corruption in a country half-way around the world is as easy as shooting a wounded boy in the back.

“George Bush has no strategy for Iraq. I do, and I have all along,” Senator Kerry said.
A briliant strategy it is too. Vote for the authorization of force against Saddam Hussein, then vote against the money to fund it. Tell Howard Dean he’s not fit to be President if he thinks the world’s no safer without Saddam, then say Saddam was not worth going after. Say that knowing then what you know now, you wouldn’t have changed your vote, then say that Iraq was the wrong war at the wrong time.
