| Bush Says Memo Questions Need to be Answered
President Bush said in an interview published yesterday that there were serious questions about the authenticity of documents featured in a CBS News report suggesting that he received preferential treatment in the Texas National Guard three decades ago.

Speaking publicly for the first time about the documents, Mr. Bush told The Manchester Union-Leader, “There are a lot of questions and they need to be answered.”

He said, “I think what needs to happen is people need to take a look at the documents, how they were created, and let the truth come out.”

Hah!

Keep up the static about memos planted by Rove and outed by One-Of-The-Faithful within 15 minutes of Rather. Keep up the static of Papa Warlock and his most excellent and prolific masculinity, but loser parenting…his serial transparent attempts to portray himself as the victim of thuggish Dems.

That way, there’s less attention on:

  • Iraq casualties from Weakling’s War to get even for the insults to his father
  • the tax breaks and corporate profit increases
  • Lyin Crook Cheney’s asinine comment about eBay auctions replacing jobs
  • the history of deception, irresponsibility, privilege and coWardice.

“Let the truth come out” about Powell’s anger over sons of privilege avoiding Vietnam, until he decided to join them so that Michael would have preferential treatment. “Let the truth come out” that the only person who claims to have seen tWirp got the dates wrong.

Yeah, that’s just the thing…”Let the truth come out.”

Hah…likely. What a joke this Wussy is!

D,

What’s funny about you is that YOU probably think Bush is STUPID,most you left wingers think anyone disagreeing with you is stupid.

WEEEELL,the case can be properly made about right now that GW Bush is WAY smarter than John Kerry. Kerry is being used like a prostitute on crackcorner Sarajevo dude. And it’s becoming obvious even to his supporters.

As for your Iraq comments, please bear in mind John the autistic bonehead VOTED for war with Iraq when you make these remarks as well as did the US senate and HOR’s overwhelmingly,America is at war with reactionary Islam and this won’t be a nation at peace for many, many years and many administrations to come.

If you can’t hack that reality, take Prozac, the Muslims aren’t changing anytime soon.

DUby

I’m surprised you aren’t blaming the Tri-Lateral Commission or the Illuminati for the Rather Hoax debacle. CBS ignored the specific warnings of the experts they contacted, so eager were they to flex their power in trying to drag Kerry into the White House by any means necessary.

Just like the Old Media, you don’t seem to have a clue about the resources the Internet can bring to the fore in a real-time way. Thousands of people, across the nation, from a diverse background and experience, sharing/pooling/vetting/researching in nano-seconds.

You even ignore that the “15 minute” window is bogus because the Old media can’t even read the time stamps of postings correctly.

Now, TV ads take just a bit longer to put together. It is much more plausible the collusion between CBS and the DNC seeing as they had the Fortunate Son ad primed to go including footage of the 60 minutes fraud memo segment right away.

GW never made his TexANG service the centerpiece of his campaign. But all Kerry has run on is his 4 months of combat service so all his Camp followers can do is pretend GW is doing the same.

CBS could have made this go away within a couple of days by admitting the hoax, apologizing, and firing Rath and the producers of the show (ala NYTimes the Jayson Blair scandal). But just like Watergate was a third-rate burglary where the coverup brought down a Presidency, we watch, with irony, as Danny-boy channels Dick Nixon.

TexasGal asked for the link to McClellan that suggested that the content of the memos was accurate. Lo and behold, how about whitehouse.gov? Why weren’t questions raised then? Simple, the content is accurate. tWirp Wimped his prelude to ChickenHawkery and couldn’t take the physical because they’d discover his cocaine use.

FBXL5 I don’t think he’s stupid at all. Do you even read the stuff that you argue with? Nowhere is there a hint that I think he’s stupid. I am suspicious that he might be nuts and have some gay fixation related to his father’s perceived humiliation, but not stupid.

Kerry voted to authorize the war and to pay for it reasonably. This has been lied about and misrepresented. Either you too are lying or you believe what you hear from Mt. Oxycontin or either of the 2 Rep news outlets—Faux News or CNN.

Autistic bonehead? That’s cute. Isn’t this the guy that led the take down of the Dem-rich BCCI and its support of terrorism? Prolly be a good idea to stop sopping up the gravy with Bush’s used underwear and get related to reality.

DALite
When Weakling went to the carrier with a taxpayer-paid sign that said “Mission Accomplished”, when he said, “Bring it on” over 500 deaths ago, when he lied about having released on the documents in 2000 “by the way”, he made all of this fair game. In fact, he dared people to discover the truth. When it comes out, whiners say, “It’s not his fault.” Just like he does.

With your active conspiratorial imagination, I’d be surprised if anything surprised you. When you see a dirty trick, think Roger Ailes and his brown noser best pupil, Karl Rove. And apparently you haven’t gotten the news that the guy who did this rapid fire research was a leading ReThug operative. Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, cheats like a duck…suspicion is a reasonable first reaction. I’m sure that you wouldn’t dream of being suspicious.

Do you really think that a newscaster should admit the hoax right away, even though they think that they’ve researched appropriately and feel reasonably sure of the story? Do you feel the same way about Mouth Limbaugh? Hannity? O’Really? How about Drudge? Link please on your allegation that CBS and DNC were in collusion.

Prolly be best for you not to make assertions like this:

you don’t seem to have a clue about the resources the Internet can bring to the fore in a real-time way.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. And making statements like this say zip about my knowledge and skills, while they speak volumes about your self-righteousness and closed mind. I was dealing on the Internet when you were still working on a Selectric…you know the kind that does proportional spacing and has, you know, th superscript capabilities. (Unlike the TCP HTML interpreter)

For the record, your links says:

Q Scott, on the National Guard documents on “60 Minutes,” the First Lady says she believes these are forgeries. The RNC has accused the Democratic Party of being the source of these documents. Knowing then what you know now, would you still have released those documents when you did?

MR. McCLELLAN: Well, that’s a hypothetical question, John. We received those documents from a major news organization. We had every reason to believe that they were authentic at that time. And in keeping with the spirit of releasing documents and being open about all the documents that we have, we made those documents available to everybody else so you could look at them yourselves. Since that time there have been a number of questions that have been raised about these documents and their authenticity. There continue to be questions raised. Those are serious issues; they ought to be looked into fully.

The one thing that is not under question is the timing of these orchestrated attacks by the Democrats on the President’s service. These are old, recycled attacks, and the Democrats have made it clear that they intend to try to tear down the President and throw the kitchen sink at us because they can’t run on John Kerry’s record, and because they see him falling behind in the polls. And that’s what this is about.

Q Does the President agree with the First Lady that these are forgeries? And does he agree with the Republican Party in that the Democrats are the source of the forgeries?

MR. McCLELLAN: Well, Mrs. Bush was expressing her view. The view of the White House is that these are serious questions that have been raised and they ought to be looked into. Many media organizations are looking into them as we speak. They’re interviewing additional experts. They have raised additional questions about it, and those are serious questions that ought to be looked into fully.

ROFLMAO!!

This link was intended to support your accusations?

Questions weren’t raised (by the White House) because these memos were said to be from Killian’s personal files. GW would have no way of knowing if they were accurate or not. Face it dubyus, your party is in the hands of either idiots or crooks. And if you are an example of that party’s constituency, then I’d say the former.

PS.
Do yourself a favor and turn your TV to FOX News in 2 hours at 9 pm EST.

Get Real!

TexasGal

DUby also seems very unfamiliar with the adage

Don’t murder someone who is committing suicide.

The White House, presented with documents only hours before Dan Rather was going with the show are under no ethical or legal obligation to comment on them at all.

I’ve been gone over the weekend, but I see that some of you are still wasting your time and intellect with this dubyus character.

Why?

It’s statements are so full of holes and lack credibility as to clearly show the comments are meant purely to stir the pot. There is no intellectual purpose to respond to dubyus’ posts because he or she does not offer any effective data or facts… just rage-based, self centered personal opinion.
