2004 US Presidential Election

| The Bounce Lives
New Time poll: Last week’s seismic voter shift to George W. Bush showed no signs of dwindling in this week’s Time Poll. Bush continues to lead Democratic challenger John Kerry among likely voters by double digits, 52% - 41%, in the three way race, with Nader at 3%, the same as last week. When poll numbers go up and stay up, it’s not a bounce. Posted by: Clyde McKenney http://www.rasmussenreports.com/Presidential_Tracking_Poll.htm Rasmussen shows it within one, as do far many more (repsected and not having massive weighting errors) pollers. Posted by: Lakhim Lakhim, Please share these pols with us. Or do you need a magic hat to see them? Posted by: jones A consistent measurement from one week to the next within the measurement error reduces the probability that last week’s poll was an “outlier”. This is not a bounce. This is a shift. Posted by: Max Darkside Lakhim is right to a certain agree. Go to Pollingreport.com and see the line up of the various polls over several weeks. The more troubling news, though is the trends behind the numbers. Rasmussen continues to show a tight race, though with Bush in the nominal lead for the past three weeks or so. For example, a simple read of Rasmussen’s Battleground polls of 16 selected battleground states would on the surface comfort the anxieties of the Kerry supporters. Unless you see that the overwhelming number of states in this battleground report by Rasmussen contains a overwhelming number of states that are normally traiditionally pro-Kerry. Now one has to wonder why they are so close when Kerry should be opening up double digit leads. Posted by: steve Bush should win the election. He is the “man in charge.” Thoughout the 9.11 crisis he has the “man” to lead the U.S.A. though some of the worst times that it has ever exerienced. Even though he has reduced the American dream to nothing, he is still the man in charge. So the advantage is with him not with kerry. Posted by: Lakhim at September 11, 2004 07:04 PM Posted by: Dan Kauffman I don’t have to have that MAGIC HAT that Lakhim is wearing…..I smell the stink of a loser on Kerry, and all the rats are circling; yelling at him to get up and be a man…..you girlie man!! ha ha ha Carville and Bogala are so hated, Kerry will lose for sure now. And with Dan Rather ‘forging’ ahead, Bush can sit back and watch the dems self destruct! I like McAuliffe’s explanation, that Karl Rove put out the fakes!!! ha ha ha ha Good one Terry, now go back into your rat hole ya loser! Posted by: dickmr Post a comment
