Amazing … now Kerry, the guy calling for greater international multilateralism, is the guy who slanders our allies. Posted by Alan at September 2, 2004 10:58 PM | TrackBack Comments
Of Course Alan, where in the Hell have you Been for the last year? Kerry says ONLY GERMANY and FRANCE are allies. Only TOTAL SPACED-OUT IDIOTS like Kerry believe that. Posted by: leaddog2 This is a point that is obvious to anyone takes Kerry’s and the Democrats rhetoric seriously. The question begged by their rhetoric is, What? about those who have stood with us? Are they just chumps? Doesn’t Kerry realize his rhetoric cannot be well received by them? It is one example of a tact taken by Kerry that is problematic for thinking people who understand that actions and words have consequences. Also those who outright are against What? we are doing in Iraq are rare. Many nations are quietly approving, but for internal and national interest reasons unwilling to help with to much overt support, but they clearly are not really opposing us. Russia is a classic example of this, they don’t want us to fail and are helping under the table. Why else would Putin have announced out of no where that they had intel Iraq was planning terrorist strikes in the US. Posted by: What? Alan, this Antipodean Alan was less than impressed when Kerry said what he did. It led to arguments here amongst those of the leftist pursuasion about whether we had been ‘coerced’ or ‘bribed’. But mainly, it was a reaction to ‘the insult direct’. Neither diplomatic, nor nuanced. As long as Kerry is just some Senator from Massachaussets, ignorable. Posted by: aebrain I had a major struggle trying to control Ubique into following the party line. However after a few stiff drinks, he was cajoled into being nice. “Dear Senator Kery, You stupid arrogant GIT, please do us all a favour and bring your New England butt over here and we will demonstrate some old English respect for those who ignore our sacrifice”. Thankfully Max was able to point out that not all Americans have forgotten their allies, have forgotten their sacrifice, have forgotten their valour along side their marine and GI comrades. Perhaps forgetting valour comes with throwing away your medals??? Posted by: max Post a comment
