| Rasmussen Poll Of Veterans

A new Rasmussen Reports Election 2004 Veterans Vote poll:

A Rasmussen Reports survey shows that military veterans prefer George W. Bush over John Kerry by a 58% to 35% margin. Those with no military service favor Kerry by ten percentage points, 51% to 41%.

The potential grassroots impact of the war issue is highlighted by the fact that 48% of Americans say they know someone who is currently serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. Among these voters, Bush currently has a ten-point advantage in the poll. Fifty-four percent (54%) of veterans know someone serving in these war zones.

Got a URL for the 50% figure? The quote that sticks in my mind is from an interview he had with
Mirror.co.uk

Take his description of his fellow countrymen and their blind pursuit of the American Dream: “They are possibly the dumbest people on the planet… in thrall to conniving, thieving, smug pricks.

“We Americans suffer from an enforced ignorance. We don’t know about anything that’s happening outside our country. Our stupidity is embarrassing.

Or maybe David Brooks in the NYT?

“”That’s why we’re smiling all the time,” he told a rapturous throng in Munich. “You can see us coming down the street. You know, `Hey! Hi! How’s it going?’ We’ve got that big [expletive] grin on our face all the time because our brains aren’t loaded down.”

Seems blanket to me, nothing about half at all according to Moore we are all the same.

But maybe he gets that idea because so many were willing to pay to see a documentary that violates the very definition of the word if not the spirit.

I mean you are NOT supposed to forge your documents are you?

I understand the Bloomington IL Pantograph is suing him for his fabrications of a headline that never appeared in their paper.

GRRRRRR. Spend all that time writing a comment and and when you hit the ‘post’ button, the m——- F———- thing throws your work away and says, ‘you need to sign in’, which I was, but evidently the f———time clock on this thing doesn’t give a sh-t.

Anyway, polls are bullsh-t. If you want to see how neck and neck this race is, go to a Kerry rally with a pencil and paper and count the participants. To make it more interesting, don’t count anyone under the age of say 12. Then go to a Bush rally and do the same thing, except you better take 200 people with you to help count. I’d say take the 200 that attended the Kerry rally, since they probably have nothing to do anyway, but they always seem to count 200 or 300 as ‘THOUSANDS’.

Even with all the help the media gives Kerry, I have to say, “Close race, my a—”.

No Party,

Re-read your last post and pat yourself on the back for a perfect imitation of George W. Bush on his best day.
